Wow! John S. below said it perfect! Everything he stated is what you can come to expect from this store. I have driven to Destin Home Depot where they know how to say " Thank you for shopping here and how may I help you" and get this...they actually mean it. What a concept right? People who want to work and get paid help those who are in need of home improvement purchases.
Slow as always but with a good selection of product.
It's a shame that a person has to use twice the gas to shop elsewhere completely because of the lack of customer service.
If corporate reads these reviews you have alot of house to clean at this particular store. A lot of lazy and rude employees are costing you money.
Needed help finding a part. Asked employee, he took us to the part we needed. He was nice, efficient and helpful. Didnt take long to check out. In and out good experience.

I saw the lumber dept. head actually laugh at a customer who was irate over the lack of service each and every time he was in there as he was telling the store manager his issues he's had there. This was all while I was waiting at customer service to hopefully check out as there were np lines open anywhere else.
Here at the Defuniak Springs Lowe's you will find rude, grouchy, disinterested and plain lazy employees. The store manager acts like he will do something about it but after 2 years of shopping here I've seen the same rude people (lumber dept.head who always wears a bandana and pro desk guy who was mad that he had to actually do something) all this time. Now that I'm reminding myself how long I've dealt with this I question why. Why would anyone put up with being treated disrespectfully? I'm never returning here. I'm a business owner who needs materials several times a DAY and that's EVERYDAY. I need a huge rear truck tool box but won't be buying at Lowes. Also an outdoor double storage shed that I won't be buying here either.
