Even though our trip wasn't for pleasure, my family stayed at this hotel as part of our evacuation to hurricane Irma. This hotel was extremely pet friendly, had washer and drier on site, hot breakfast, pool, and back deck picnic area. We had reservations at other hotels along our route but after staying here for the first night we decided to stay because it was everything we needed. What a fun little country town! I was very pleased with this hotel. I give it 5 stars.
The Sleep Inn staff were very friendly and accommodating. Comfortable beds and clean rooms.
I was driving a truck from Tampa to Austin, it required service at Enterprise Truck across the street.
I truly do understand that this was a busy and crazy time for any hotel, but I simply was abiding by my instructions (those instructions were in writing, nonetheless) and I was not given a refund (at this time).
Clean rooms and property. Staff are great. Hotel and Lobby very nice. Loves truck stop with McDonald's and Subway across street. Easy access to Interstate 10 plus south to beaches of Ft. Walton.
If choice hotels or this particular hotel actually reads these reviews, I would love to be refunded my $200 and will gladly delete or redo this "complaint" to show them I want a business to be run well, without the expense of unwarranted complaints. I enjoy choice, but maybe not after this miscommunication.
New, clean, dog friendly. 24 hour McDonald's, Subway, convenience store. Staff very friendly and helpful.
We were looking forward to staying here during Hurricane Irma because we were nearly evacuated. To be safe, I reserved a room for 2 nights and one of the reasons I reserved it was because I could cancel up until 6:00pm. Unfortunately, when I called at 5:00pm to cancel my reservation (because thank God we did not get evacuated) I was told that my reservation could only be cancelled until 4:00pm. Well, if you see the photo, that's simply not true. When I explained that I had it clearly in writing, I was told "I just do what I'm told, you're cards already been charged."
I would like to say that this is probably not this particular hotels fault, but their parent company choice hotels. I reserved online through choice hotels and they clearly state that I have until 6:00pm to cancel. So, I don't was to deter anyone from this hotel because I have not stayed at this hotel. BUT, because of their association with Choice Hotels, I must give a poor review.
