My granddaughter and I just spent 3 nights here. The park is small and beautiful. The grounds are manicured with each site having plants, trees and ours had flowers. The bath house was exceptionally clean. The lake and the sunsets are beautiful!!! Ms Lola was so helpful and nice. She made sure we were settled and comfortable. Great place near local springs.

Nice quiet Campground. Nice staff

Change the name to Turtle Haven Camp Ground. Sits right on Juniper Lake. Lake noted for large Bass. The two days I was there with my son we caught 26 turtles. Any live bait will catch a turtle not our intentions. Caught a large catfish on a cricket. Camp host are a dream team. Very kind and helpful. Limited RV sites available due to long term residence booking in advance. A few tent sites and one small motel like room to rent. Call first to reserve a space in the quite area. Restrooms on site with showers are clean. Boat launch less than a mile away or set a kayak off the beach on the camp ground. Few fire pits available. Again, nice place and nice straight forward owners.

This season should be Turtle Haven. I will definitely return. Not far off I-10, has full hook ups and tent space. Majority of spaces taken by long term campers, I can see why. Beautiful Juniper Lake with access to launch boat. Under 5mph requested. Serious vegetation growing in the lake creates habitat for turtles and brim. Turtles will eat anything. Not sure how many verity of turtles, but I do know catching fish between the turtles is a challenge. Camp is well taken care of and restrooms are clean. Hot water is very hot and cold water is warm. Great couple/owners live on site and will do everything they can to make your visit pleasurable.

Not a private campground at all, all the sites are squished together and it seems like someone took their half acre back yard and crammed as many hookups into it as possible. We drove an hour and a half, and after seeing the campground we took 60 seconds to process it and think about it before the lady Lola turned bitter and asked us if we were taking it or not so that she could get on with her night. After we responded politely that we were taking a second to think about it because we lived an hour and a half away she responded with "why don't you just go on home then and don't bother me with this anymore" and turned us away and walked off. We were dumbfounded and drove back home, camping and fishing trip ruined. Do not suggest this place to anybody.
